Great to meet you!
Hi, I’m Kexin. I’m a bilingual therapist fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, with experience supporting clients across the lifespan through challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, identity and acculturation stress, perfectionism, and major life transitions. I specialize in helping individuals who are navigating relationship or career challenges, as well as those working through the impact of developmental, attachment, or shock trauma.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the finance industry in Hong Kong, which gives me a unique perspective on the pressures faced by high-achieving individuals and those managing demanding careers. I earned my M.A. in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University and have trained in a variety of evidence-based approaches, including CBT, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, and somatic practices.

A bit about my approach to therapy
My approach is collaborative, integrative, and trauma-informed. I draw from psychodynamic theory, relational therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, mindfulness, and somatic tools to tailor treatment to each client’s needs. I also integrate techniques from specialized trainings in areas such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Family Check-Up, and Somatic Experiencing. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their inner world, build resilience, and move toward growth and healing.

What you can expect from our first session
In our first session, my priority is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and supported. We’ll explore what brings you to therapy and begin to set goals together. Many of my clients find that therapy helps them better understand themselves, improve emotional regulation, and develop new ways of relating to others. Over time, you can expect to gain clarity, self-acceptance, and practical tools to navigate challenges in a way that aligns with your values and aspirations.
