Kexin is a licensed mental health counselor with extensive experience supporting individuals across the lifespan in a community outpatient clinic. She practices from a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive lens, honoring your unique voice and the experiences that have shaped your identity. She aims to bring balance, clarity, and fulfillment to your life by holding space for both your emotional and logical brains.

Kexin specializes in relationship and career challenges, high-achieving and perfectionist tendencies, acculturation and identity issues, and life transitions of all kinds. Her integrated, trauma-informed approach is well-suited to working with both developmental and attachment trauma (such as childhood neglect or emotional abuse), as well as shock trauma (such as domestic violence or physical assault).

Kexin’s priority in therapy is to create a space where her clients feel genuinely free to explore their inner world without judgment. Her work is grounded in psychodynamic theory, relational therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which help clients understand the deeper emotional and relational patterns that shape their life. She also draw from mindfulness practices, somatic techniques, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing to offer more structured support when helpful. Kexin views therapy as a collaborative process, and she deeply value your feedback along the way so that we can shape our work to truly meet your needs.

“Life can be a bumpy ride. In moments of exhaustion, loss, anxiety, loneliness, sadness, and even despair, you deserve a space where every part of you is welcome. We will move toward deeper self-understanding and greater clarity - creating room for meaningful changes, even if it may seem out of reach now. It is a privilege to walk alongside you on this journey.”
