Rachel Liu is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who supports children, adolescents, and adults in navigating life’s challenges with compassion and care. She is passionate about working with clients from diverse cultural and lived experiences, particularly immigrants and first-generation Americans.

Rachel specializes in helping individuals facing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, cultural adjustment, identity exploration, and life transitions. She honors each client’s unique story, tailoring her approach to support their goals, values, and strengths.

Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy. She is currently pursuing basic EMDR training and incorporates EMDR-informed techniques to support clients in processing trauma. Rachel strives to create a safe, affirming space where clients can feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow.

Rachel earned her Master of Social Work from Columbia University. Her personal and professional experiences as a bicultural individual inspire her commitment to providing culturally sensitive, strengths-based care.

“I believe therapy is a space to feel understood and supported as you reconnect with your inner strengths. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you build self-compassion, process what holds you back, and move toward a life of greater peace, authenticity, and confidence.”
