Rainey brings a relational and person-centered approach to therapy, integrating psychodynamic and existential perspectives. With a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens, she works closely with individuals navigating identity, belonging, and life transitions. She graduated from New York University (NYU) with a Master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness and has experience working in a college counseling center, where she provided LGBTQ+ affirmative counseling services and supported young adults exploring their sense of self and connection. As a queer and bilingual therapist, she is passionate about working with immigrants, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ clients to foster authenticity, healing, and self-acceptance. Grounded in compassion and curiosity, her work invites clients to move beyond survival and toward genuine self-understanding and growth.
